Bauhaus: N°1

This first issue of Bauhaus was published in December 1926 to coincide with the opening of the Bauhaus building in Dessau. Every three months, it reported events in Desssau and important modern trends, and included contributions from Walter Gropius, Lazlo Moholy-Nagy, Ernst Kallai andHannes Meyer as editors. Eighty years after the discontinuation of the original journal, the Bauhaus Dessau foundation will publish a new magazine under the old name, and in doing so provide a platform for contemporary graphic design.
