Shauba Chang – a touch of
The series of photographs in this book by Taiwanese photographer Shauba Chang depict hands, either in blue velvet gloves or bare. The hands prod and fondle different animal products, including eggs and raw meat. a touch of might be a literal investigation of touch and varying stages of pressure, but it could also be something else entirely. There's not much context provided, though short phrases do accompany a few of the photographs. Chang leaves the viewer to decide on the correlation between the imagery and text, and the series as a whole.
